Swordfish 10.8′ Air Floor

We really like the boat. Construction and welded seams were why we purchased it. Solid Al floor is great for dive gear and sharps. Capacity is excellent. We had six large adults in this dinghy and still had huge freeboard due to oversized tubes. Seat bag is really nice also with bottle holder nets for afternoon cruises through anchorage. Find a cover to fit is challenge. Suggest SB sell covers to fit there boats. It’s heavy but we never deflate or put onboard. Stays on float and we tow behind. We have had three previous PVC dinghies that last about 7-8 years before seams break down being covered except for use. We paid more for this and will see how long it lasts. All in all our boat partners and I are extremely impressed with this inflatable.

I spent weeks researching inflatable boats capable of using a gas motor for propulsion chose Inflatable Sport boats/ Swordfish model with an inflatable floor. I go camping and fishing in the high mountain lakes of Oregon twice a year. I have a tow behind RV, So I leave my jet boat at home when I go. The Swordfish 10.8 is a perfect fit for this application. I purchased a Yamaha 2.5 outboard for the boat, and it is amazing for short and long distances. I have had the boat in windy conditions as well as 3-4 foot swells and it handles flawlessly. The Swordfish exceeded my expectations. A great quality built Inflatable and enjoyable to be on the water in. I dealt with Ashley Taylor as my sales representative. She was fantastic to work with. Ashley provided a level of service beyond my expectations. This is a great product, I highly recommend it to anyone purchasing an inflatable motor boat.

Like another reviewer, I, too, spent quite a bit of time researching inflatables. I was looking for something that my wife and I could use along with our lab to go fishing and just enjoy a day out on the water. I am happy to say the Swordfish was the right choice! The main attraction to this inflatable for me was the quality and weight. I needed a boat that my wife and I could lift into the back of our SUV.

After only a couple outings, I can set this up in about 20 min. That includes filling it with air, connecting the transom wheels and putting a 6hp outboard on it. Folding it away takes a little less time. I use a makita hand held blower to get most it of it full and top off with the foot pump. I wanted the 2nd bench seat, which I got but don't really use. Eric (the owner) suggested I didn't need it, I should have listened to him. I sit on the side tube next to the motor and guide it along.

It's rated for 15hp but I use a 6hp. I wanted something I could easily lift and the 6hp is just right. All in all, this is a great boat, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality inflatable.
